Our client is a leading strategic communications consultancy, seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to join its growing team in Dubai.

While the role is based in Dubai 50%+ of their time will be based in Saudi Arabia, on the ground with the client.

The right candidate will have approximately 7-9 years of experience, specifically within the field of corporate communications, financial communications, reputation management, crisis and issues management. 


They will be have significant experience in financial communications and be well versed with the nuances of the industry; able to hold their own with experienced, specialised professionals. 

Excellent project management capabilities including organisational, time and priority management skills. 

They will have worked across all technical areas of FS. Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, and all aspects of budget reporting. Experience in managing financial communications projects including a strategic understanding of the processes, protocol, risks and message and communications development. 


 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide strategic counsel and guidance to senior business leaders confidently and maturely
  • Proactively drive project implementation and delivery to specified deadline, managing across a number of different client stakeholders
  • Develop an internal client network and build strong, trusted relationships both within the business and with other contractors

  • Ability to advise capably on a wide range of accounts across Financial Communications (IR, M&A,  crisis comms etc)

Key Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in Public Relations / Communications
  • Strong strategic capability, but willing to ‘roll one’s sleeves up’ and lead the execution of tactical operations when required.
  • Superlative oral and written communications skills, with experience writing key messages, Q+As, briefing notes. Speech writing experience would be useful
  • Experience of working with large, complex organizations, and a proven ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders.
  • Experience dealing with reporters, producers and other media.
  • Successful experience operating at the top of organizations with regular exposure to senior decision-makers internally and externally. Proven success in influencing senior management in a dynamic, changing environment. 
  • A demonstrated record of developing and executing media strategies for a large, high-profile organization, campaign or brand.
  • A simplifier with the ability to develop and simplify messages about a variety of topics, business disciplines and industries.
  • Fluency in Arabic would be preferred
